I looks good to me. It is the same that is being offered by TATA AIG (zero dep.).
I ll try to attach the snap shot of my policy so that you can compare price wise.

Anyway , which ever you choose, it will make sense to opt for zero dep.

Hi Fabian and others,

As far as I know, Tata AIG is probably the only Motor Insurance provider who has a host of other riders/benefits along with the basic premium.

Some of them are unnecessary and some very necessary [like NCB non-expiry on some repairs, 100% support of claim twice a year, overnight stay expenses when highway breakdown happens, etc].

I've taken a policy with TATA AIG [about 3K more than the basic premium] where I'll be getting 2 claims this year for 100%, with a Maximum contribution of Rs.500/- from my end.

Unless other motor insurance providers have also come up with the benefits/riders for you to cross compare, I recommend Tata AIG's plan. That is if you think it's value.

Insurance renewal time still 2 months away , started getting quotes from Insurance companies -Bajaj Allianz gave a higher quote of 13000Rs for 6.6lac IDV.
Last year they gave quote of 9700Rs for 6 Lac.
Any one who has applied for claims in last 12 months can share their experience about the insurance company and how smooth was the process.

Vijay paid 18k + something for his 2 yr old tdi elegance to Tata aig with one add-on.
but no ncb benefit for him this time .

I feel the rates have gone up in general.

It is time for insurance renewal again. Bajaj has tied up with Skoda to offer 'Skoda Insurance'. God knows what it is.
This time I have opted for the Drive assure which also includes engine siezure from oil leak and water logging along with depreciation reimbursement. The actual premium for IDV 4.9 lacs comes to ~9000/-.
Plus some 5000 for the Drive Assure add-on. You can also find a gentleman's contact number below. He is a direct employee of Bajaj Allianz.

Premiums offerred by Bajaj were reasonable , though I was offerred couple of 100Rs lower by ICICI , but closed the deal with Bajaj / Manjunath last week for 10800 Rs with IDV of 6 Lakhs including Personal Accident insurance for all 4 passengers.
Did not go for Drive Assure as it was close to 16K.

My car is about to enter the fourth year. Time for insurance renewal.

I bought an insurance policy from TATA AIG. But now I feel that it was a hasty decision.

1. Their IDV is based on the price of the new Fabia. It does not consider the old price. This devalues the car to unacceptable level.
2. Bajaj Allianz is offering dep. reimbursement in the fourth year as well. Knowing the expensive repair cost of Fabia I am tempted to go for it. Only if I had known about it just last week Sad

I am thinking of canceling the Tata policy. And buying one from Bajaj. More so because Bajaj has a tie up with Skoda.

Time for the insurance for my car as its gonna enter the 4th Year.

I have zeroed in on HDFC insurance with IDV of 437000/- and NCB of 50% and spl discount of 30%. I have to pay the premium of Rs. 6370/-

I feel that the insurance companies should have a different discount policy as per the milaege of the car. If any car has had a low milaege than the discount should be more and vice a versa.

For Fabia Ambiente Diesel (2008), Finally settled renewing with Bajaj Allianz again premium of Rs 15843 for 5.4 Lakh -drive assure with zero depreciation.
