I know this query sounds really silly. The brochure/website/ owners manual etc states that the tank capacity is 45 litres.
I have been driving the car for over 5000km now, and the maximum I have managed to fill in the tank is 39 litres. This was when the MID was showing 20kms to empty!! The MID showed the average FE at 10kmpl at that point of time, so am assuming there were 2 litres left in the tank.
On an average I fill in 35 - 37 litres. This is always tankfull with auto cutoff. |

The MID must be crazy  . Just yesterday I filled 38 liters and the fuel level pre-fill was well above the reserve mark. There must have been at least 10 lts already in the tank.

Same here , the first time it happened i was completely foxed.
The Distance to empty showed me about 35 kms or so left and when i topped up it took in less than 40 - which left me wondering because it meant
1. tank was not 45
2. according to to the MID , the average i would get for the next 5-6 liters would be only about 7 Kmpl
