Since we can't get our stuff from back on T-BHP, I am adding some of the best pictures of the car from various locations, This should be a good start for the voyage threads.
Its not so difficult, adding pictures like this, its almost the same as with the previous forum. |

Sure ! How about robin's suggestion to meet up with the bangy club in Goa ?! the recession has me quite free lately, so I'm game. Anyway, if you need any help with a trip just give me a call. |

Went for a rainy drive yesterday, didnt rain, so we went to Naneghat, its about 220km from bombay, and is a fantastic drive, the fabia kept composed on the twisties and was great fun, there was a slight glitch that I had a friend following in a swift with stock tyres, i had to slow down considerably to let him keep up and on the road, about an hour was lost in the process.
Me basking in the evening sun (have got a bit unfit due to work)

|
Last weekend made a sudden decision on trip to Jog falls (Sagara near shimoga karnataka). Totally it was 900Kms drive, road was not that good, it took 8 hrs to reach jog falls (400 KMs).
Here are the few photos of Jog falls and nearby places taken on my mobile(forgot to carry the camera)...

|
|
This Saturday we decided go out for a little excursion. Three colleagues , my wife and I had breakfast, delicious bread rolls, and left by 8 AM. One of the colleague in the group excels in culinary skills.
Savandurga is only 70 Kms from Bangalore. The place has a monolith with a temple at the top. Climbing the monolith can be tricky. The slope is steep most of the time, which makes the climb thrilling and fun. At noon we picked up the scent that starts where the road ends and it took us close to 2 hrs to reach the top. The good thing about places like these is that it requires physical ability and will power to enjoy it to the fullest and so is less crowded. At the top we could feel the cool, fresh oxygenated breeze and light drizzle in our face. At the top you may just hear the silence or let your thoughts fly or try to unravel the God's mistry.
If the ascent was tricky then the descent was trickier, requiring skills to extract all the grip from the sole of the footwear. If ascent was hard on the thigh and calf muscles, then descent was hard on knees and toes. We reached Bangalore by 6 in the evening with a satisfied feeling of day well spent.
I'll let the pictures do rest of the talking.

Hi guys ! i'm back, albeit after a long delay, as I had lost this page, and I was very very busy.. anyway, made a trip to Aurangabad and back yesterday, 900km in all, the car gave a brilliant mileage of 21 km/l will put up pictures if I get any, as I had taken one of my old film cameras to see if it works, not too sure if it works too well now. |
