The original Parking sensor cost 15500, and if u fit non-branded, it will void electrical warranty as per dealer techy,.
The dance unit is with id3 tag reading, gala, fader, on volume, pdc compatible, upto 3 aux sensor, etc. etc.
u can find these if u keep asking the dealer, and techy guy.. |

The good news now, I guess, is that the cost of the reverse parking sensor has come down. As per the accessories list given by the dealer, rear sensors with mirror display costs Rs 5900. I'm sure it can be bargained downwards..

1. FABIA ---- 1853
2. JAZZ ---- 269
3. PUNTO ---- 62
4. FIGO ----- 1881 (Low sales mainly due to no schemes available for the year end)
Still waiting for the POLO nos. |
Adding to my previous post, VW sold 2356 units of Polo while vento got even better share with 3160 units. _________________ Currently driving - XUV 5OO, Honda Civic, Skoda Fabia, New Swift, Hyundai Santro.

WOW !!
I have seen so many Fabia's on road in last 15-20 days but they all had rear wiper at the back that means they all were old versions but not even a single Fabia without one or let us say the new one ? So are these figures are of old Fabia still selling at discounted rates or new ?
Uneet,
as you said low sales for Figo due to no scheme but I still remember discussing with few dealers in Delhi about the year end scheme on Fabia and they denied. So my doubt about old Fabia still selling is more rock solid hitherto we get the exact figure for new one.
Wat say ...... |

1460 is not a bad number.
Great going Fabia but sudden increase in Punto sale ? Any reason. |

I think that ultimately Fabia nos should settle around 1000 units/month only. _________________ Currently driving - XUV 5OO, Honda Civic, Skoda Fabia, New Swift, Hyundai Santro.

It seems that Fabia is gonna be settling in around 1400 units per month which is decent enough taking into consideration the initial period. _________________ Currently driving - XUV 5OO, Honda Civic, Skoda Fabia, New Swift, Hyundai Santro.

You are right Uneet. 1400+ is more reasonable. But why not Punto ? I mean, what is wrong with Punto as a car ? People just not interested in buying it (i mean many are not interested). Whereas, you check any forum and you would find people going ga-ga about Punto.

Shalinder,
I feel Punto has its own Pros and cons, though it seems more of negatives than positives.
Its a good strong built car with superb handling, but it really lacks in the luxuary feel that is required in this segment especially the interiors
Also I feel that Fiat as a brand is not favoured much in India, though Skoda is not too different but Skoda has proved its supremacy in D segment which helps trusting a brand. _________________ Currently driving - XUV 5OO, Honda Civic, Skoda Fabia, New Swift, Hyundai Santro.

You are right Uneet. Fiat as a brand is not giving confidence to Indian buyers. Thus, they are staying away or do not venture in a relationship with Fiat. But if you ask me, there feature list is not bad even if you compare it with Fabia or any other Hatch. Let alone i20 because it is too expensive for most and people would rather buy a sedan on hatch.
If you check, Emotion vs Ambiente then Emotion makes more sense as per the feature list. Build quality is similar and road handling would be at par if not better (or is it better ). Space inside could be better in Fabia but Punto is not bad either. |

Skoda sold 1753 units of Fabia in March.
Honda sold 152 units of Jazz
Figures for Punto is awaited.
A decent sales figure for Fabia which is not quite stable around 1500+ mark. _________________ Currently driving - XUV 5OO, Honda Civic, Skoda Fabia, New Swift, Hyundai Santro.

Its a 65% jump in SKODA March 11 sales in India over last year.
Any count over 1000 per month is a good rate. _________________ Rgds
