Ladies and Gentlemen,
This thread is being started for all users of Fabia cars, irrespective of your location, to document the issue[s] you've had with your Fabia, for SKODA INDIA to see and act on, if they are a member here. Please DO NOT use this thread for sharing your issues with other members. I'm sure all of us are well experienced drivers and mature to understand what issues really are, but for the sake of a guideline, I'll list a few examples of DOs and DONTs. Also, kindly remember that the posts here are written to Skoda India, in an expectation that they're already a member here, or will become a member in the future. Please do not expect a fellow member or the admins to help directly be engaging Skoda India.
Some example scenarios which constitute an Issue:
1. 1st time or Repetitive engine, brake, accelerator, electrical wiring, tyres, clutch, etc issues, which are a cause/concern.
2. Regular halting of vehicle on the road/highways which pose a grave threat to occupant's lives.
3. Frequent issues like boiling of coolant, quick consumption of engine oil [than prescribed/recommended in your owner manual], first time or regular leakage of any fluid or oil, etc.
4. Car's lighting system are not functioning properly/well and often conk.
5. Rattling of doors, doorpads, factory fit items in the car, etc. that is a nuisance.
Some example scenarios which do not constitute an Issue:
1. Wiper blades not cleaning properly, due to rubber being stuck with twigs, leaves or other such items [these are things we can clear ourselves], or if they are slightly bent [which we can set right ourselves]
2. Car wires are torn apart because of rat nuisance. [well, that's your problem to deal with, not Skoda's].
3. Headlight/Taillight bulb conked / tripped fuse: If it's a wear and tear incident, please don't raise it as an issue. If it's a regular affair, it is an issue.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please also remember to raise an issue ticket on this thread, only after all efforts with your dealership Fails, and any communication you take up Directly with Skoda India. You should also understand that posting here DOES NOT guarantee any action on your issues/problems.
