Try looking here.
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/tyre-alloy-wheel-section/66999-wheel-alignment-bangalore.html

Actually it's 10,000 KMs or 1 year, which ever is earlier. So get it serviced to avoid any warranty issuses.

Guys, I am nearing 18K kms. I plan to rotate my tyres, all by my self. Since I don't know if the Matador tyres are unidirectional or not, I will stick to replacing front <---> back, maintaining the same side.
Anyone has any experience/knowledge on this?
I know it will be tiresome, but will do it this weekend. It is a resolution Smile .

Need to explore this link
http://www.matador.sk/index.cfm?Module=ActiveWeb&page=WebPage&s=pneu

http://www.matador.sk/index.cfm?module=ActiveWeb&page=WebPage&s=vseobecne
What happens of the directional tread pattern is mounted the other way round?

Tyres with directional tread pattern are marked with the directional symbol „Rotation“ on the sidewall for proper mounting. We do not recommend you to mount such tyres in the opposite direction because the producer could not guarantee the performance parameters.

I did not rotate the tires this weekend Sad. I went to the service station for some minor repairs.
1) There was a noise coming form the front left brake, when the steering was fully rotated towards left. The disk brakes have a protective shield (metal plate) on the inside. It had some how got twisted and was making contact with some other metal part, resulting in the noise. It was replaced. Cost of the shield - Rs 611, labor charge -Rs 450.

2) Rear defogger, only middle three wires are working. Their system did not pick any error. I guess the sun film is to be blamed. The V-Kool guys must have damaged the delicate wires. Problem unresolved but I can live with that.

3) General check-up for battery charge, filters etc.. labor charge- Rs 200.

4) Driver door alignment. Free of cost under warranty.

Total cost - Rs 1328/-

Will post the pics of the shield soon.

Will try changing the tires this Saturday Smile.

Got the first service done yesterday @ 10,500 KMs. Any vehicle after first service will have a feel of second hand, even the bike.

According to my opinion the service done by Vinayaka is poor,
1. No underbody cleaning, dirt are still as it is.
2. started getting the rattle noice on the left side.

I am not having the feel of driving Fabia, dont know how to put it in words as im not technically good about the engines....
I hate giving the vehicles for service, but this cant be avoided Sad

Bill break up
1. Oil Filter-------------------------384
2. Fuel Filter-----------------------961
3. Consumables------------------155
4. Oil for HY steering wheel------53
5. Wind Screen washer-----------99
6. Engine oil (4 lts)------------- 3600 (Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 Fully Synthetic motor oil)
7. Pickup and drop --------------300
Tax 12.5%-------------------------694

I am not surprised about the service quality. When I had my AC blower changed, there were grease marks on inside. Had to clean myself. But I make it a point to stay at service station while my car is being serviced. I am aquainted to the manager there, thanks to VKJ. I guess thats the reason I get decent service now.

What is this rattle that you mention. There is some rattle in my car too. But it is almost non existent at a optimal tyre pressure. It is noticeable only at high or low pressure points.

When i asked the time slot for the service, I was told it will take the whole day and i have to wait till evening, so I decided the pick & drop facility.

When ever the car is taken on small path hole, i get a kind of oscillating noise on the left side...

They don't even check the tyre pressure as part of service. I checked tyre pressure today after re-fuelling it was not proper, might be the reason for the noise, will update on that soon...

I think there is some confusion for the price of Engine oil. Also as per the manual, it is supposed to be 3.8Lt and 4.00 lt.

I was charges for 3.8Lt @ 728/Lt = 2766 and oil filter for Rs. 375. Fuel filter was not changed.

Why is there is a different of nearly Rs 175/Lt for the engine oil. This difference is surelly not for taxation.

Do they need to change the fuel filter, if yes than why was it not done in my case.

Uneet,
I think the quantity is 3.8 lts, but i did not ask any question as i used pick & drop facility for servicing.
Regarding fuel filter - of all the service reports here in this section only my service report contains that.
The price of the Shell Helix Ultra synthetic is Rs. 900

If the sound resembles like the shaking of half filled bottle, welcome to the club. Sreekumar and I too have this problem. It was worse before changing the AC blower.

There are two grades of synthetic oil at the two price points mentioned here , 728 and 900. The expensive one is supposed to be slightly better.
This my understanding, I may be wrong. May be we can use the description no. in the bill to compare.

Why was the AC blower changed ? Is is changed for all cars .
The blower is noisy above 2 and unbearable .
Read somewhere Skoda is changing blowers to one with less noise , if its true I will rush to Vinayaka soon.

Blower for some cars were changed because it rattled. It made a flapping noise. Some members here had that problem.

In my bill the oil description is :
Shell 5w40 synthetic oil @ Rs756/-, charged for 3.8L at Tafe.
I remember the manager at Vinayak telling me "the 5w40 costs 900, 756 rate is for slightly inferior oil (from shell only)". So if Manager at Vinayak is right then description in my bill is wrong. Else the rate is more at Vinayak for the same oil.

Did a tabulation for Diesel Fabia oil change from this thread

Uneet ;Helix Diesel Plus VA 5W30 @728 =2912
Kunal ;NA @712.5 =2850
Pravin ;Helix Diesel Plus VA 5W30 @511.2 =2045
Invinsible ;NA @800 =3200

Shell Helix Diesel Plus => has synthetic + Mineral oil
Features -Catalyst and turbo proven --> Ideal for turbo-charged engines and catalytic converters & Up to 24% more protection from oil degradation than Shell Helix Diesel Super

In case of Shell Helix Diesel Ultra Up to 47% more protection from oil degradation than Shell Helix Diesel Plus

Diesel Ultra is recommended for cars aged between 0-4 years where as Diesel Plus is recommended for 5-7 years.

Above is As per Shell website-
Dont know why the difference in costs (@200 p/ltr) charged for the similar composition for my self and uneet.
Have Doubt if oil has been changed in my case

Evil or Very Mad

May be they charged you for the cheaper one but wrongly entered the above details. Often they switch to different oil if the regular is not available.

Regarding details, they enter anything. So far they have never mentioned my model name correctly. It is always 1.2 Active. Recently they entered 1.2 Active MPI PD Very Happy . Color changes to Silver from of C.Beige.
