|
|
Hi All,
I am new to this forum and I am planning to by Fabia comming week. The only thing i am missing is the USB. I have a pioneer player from my previous car and I am planning to install that but the Dealer says the warranty will be void if I change the player. Please help.
I do have 2 amps and Rear JBL limited eddition speakers and also subwoofer. I am sad since I will not be able to fit them to the car please advise.
I just somehow enable USB for the car, I have heard of the FM transmittor and its not up to the mark. |

Hi Santosh,
There is no USB port yes, but there is an AUX port next to the rear of the handbrake lever.
I haven't tried or owned one, but see if you can find any cable or device where one end of the cable is a aux connector [that goes into the aux port] and other end is an USB port input for a USB cable.
Not sure if such a cable/device exists, but give it a try in all electronics shops.

I guess AUX port can only be used for external devices like Ipod, mp3 players etc.
Iam using my ipod, HTC etc on this port without any problems. _________________ Currently driving - XUV 5OO, Honda Civic, Skoda Fabia, New Swift, Hyundai Santro.

I had heard of a box that exists that manages this. Its not something that is branded and is supposed to be crude. Dont think that there is a brand name associated with it too. One end's the Aux in pin and the other ends in a box that can accept a USB device. The device reads off the USB stick and outputs it to the Aux.
I dont think its gonna be easy to find. Better bet would be to buy a small Mp3 player and hook it to the Aux.
All the best.

I use a cowon J3 pmp thru aux in with excellent output.
Only negetive point is the volume in PMP should be set 3/4th level to get best sound . The dance unit volume is set to minimum @ 4-6 level max. _________________ Rgds

Hello All,
I'm interested in installing Jabra Cruiser; BT speaker phone, in my Fabia;1.2 Ambiente.
Need advise on compatibility with the Dance audio head unit.I am currently using Sony810i mobile.
Will the Jabra device work seamlessly with the Fabia's audio unit?
Hoping for sound advice from the Fabia Club _________________ jnpai
