today i had to use my stepknee i.e the fifth tyre due puncture in my running tyre and to my surprise i found that the fifth wheel is not alloy wheel. It was looking so odd and then i contacted skoda service and they told that skoda does not provide fifth alloy wheel.my car fabia 1.2 ambience petrol 2009 oct.
can anybody tell me if he got fifth alloy wheel. all other manufacturers are giving all alloy wheels. |

It is a shocker, isn't it. Untill you are consoled by other owners 
Skoda does not give the fifth wheel as alloy for any model. A few other manufacturers also do the same.

Every Car manufacturer does like this, they provide for 4 wheels.
And when I asked SKODA company/dealer, they told, if 5th is provided with alloy, then u may keep the punctured tyre without repairing, (not a valid reason) but all told the same word.  |

| what is the technical reason for providing fifth wheel as steel,because fifth wheel will be seldom used and tyre will not be used during its valid age. |
