Hi Guys
Can anyone help me out with by telling what is the utility of the circled part (also coded as 1) in the attached diagram of Fabia's front bumper assembly?
The reason I am asking is that I had a mild accident and the only damages seem to be cracked number plate, loose circled part and loose front grille (which I have managed to fix).

Thanks.. Is it removeable or does it have to be replaced every time the towing hook is used?

Its there for asthetics covers up the hole when there is no towing hook..  |
