Hi,
I started a new thread, for help on a part buying.
Recently, I found a part is missing or may be removed anywhere, after a long drive. The part is attached under the wheel housing on front right side. Its a detachable part, but the delear is saying it comes with its full assembly. Money is not matter, but the actual part can be fixed by a lay man while the complete assembly needs skoda service center and service center is 250 kms away from my home. Also they are telling, no part no is avail for that small part.
So need to know, how u all experts judge this when a service center says a monopoly selling scheme. Did anybody come around to see the part catalog, as I was unable to check.
In short, how to check the complete list of parts with code which are available for new fabia.
Any idea plz respond soon, as its very urgent.
Thanks. |

Hi Swastik,
Sorry that no one has replied to your thread until now. It's probably because fellow members might not have understood the query you have regarding this specific part.
It is probably best to illustrate such posts with pictures, as far as possible, so we can understand which this part is, that you're making reference to. You mentioned it's urgent way back in August and it's almost end september now.
Can you update on how this was attended to/handled? Do you still need to discuss this?
Regards,

I asked to all that, when u buy a spare how u come to know that is it a standalone or a complete fit, that company ships.
I didn't got a chance to see their inner system showing the details, so asked.
Anyway, as I found no reply I replaced a complete assembly.
The pasrt was, wheel cover, a piece which is fixed on above the front wheels, to protect the body from mud to enter. |
