is it possible to install foglights and foldable flip key along with remote locking.I mean the OEM.I hav a ambiente model that does not com with flip key and fig lights and drl .
please help.what about the dual tone horn |

I am not sure about the foldable key but others should be possible if the wiring harness has provisions, although expensive. Fog lights for example were for Rs 16000/- the last time I checked. Service guys would be the best people to consult on this.

Key can be made but can u check weather the transponder can be fitted.the service guys in my state kerala dosent know abt it at all.ur help will be greatly appreciated

Hi all,
I'd love to have my key replaced with the FOB variant, i also have been searching "a lottt" on the net over the past few days for such options.
One has already been mentioned in the post above by viva1986, and others are available all over the net.
The only apprehension i have is that as a rule one usually never gets their keys duplicated by anyone (especially the local key maker) or on this case the Store in Haryana.
I remember my parents saying this a long time ago when they lost our house keys, they just replaced all the locks after getting a duplicate made to get in that is!!
I personally feel (no offence to no one) that this is a very tricky situation. Imagine sending your car keys over by courier to Haryana where they will make duplicates and send them back to you, invariably now aware of my car's location! 
It's like an invite!!
On the other hand, one can order a set of the fob key over the net and get the transponder out of the OEM key and have the blank key laser cut. An option which still involves copying my original keys.
Does anyone now how much skoda charges for such a key replacements (updated charges).

The last time i checked the cost of spares has come down a lot, i just enquired about the OEM Fabia Mud Flaps (fiber) front & back and their cost was now only Rs. 800/- compared to Rs. 2100/- last year.
Also checked for fog lamps and they cost Rs.6000/- a pair now!!
