http://new.skoda-auto.com/COM/about/info/news/News/Pages/2010_10_NewFacesFabiaRoomster.aspx

Engine portfolio:
• 1.2 HTP/44 kW (60 PS)
• 1.2 12V HTP/51 kW (70 PS)
• 1.4 16V/63 kW (86 PS)
• 1.2 TSI/63 kW (86 PS)
• 1.2 TSI/77 kW (105 PS)
• 1.6 16V/77 kW (105 PS)
• 1.6 16V/77 kW (105 PS) (A)
• 1.2 TDI CR DPF/55 kW (75 PS)
• 1.6 TDI CR DPF/66 kW (90 PS)
• 1.6 TDI CR DPF/77 kW (105 PS)

It has two 1.2 TSI engines. Even the 86 PS TSI should be better then all the other hatches available here, mainly due to availability of high torque at low rpm. Plus they are very efficient too.

All the diesel engines are CRDI. The one with 75 PS seems to be the one being introduced in the Indian Polo.

Skoda should introduce the TSI at least in the Elegance model to justify the "premium" price. Consequently reduce the price of the other models. They are anyway offering a discount of 50k on the active and classic version. If they do, I won't mind buying the TSI Fabia again (Yeti is anyway out of my reach Smile). The size/space and comfort level of Fabia suits me perfect. I don't really like the look of the facelifted Fabia though.

Lets wait and see when they will be introduced in India.

Now that our Fabia Petrol is out of shelves in 13 cities due to stringent norms, what is the fate ahead for this car Exclamation
New Petrol engine (same as VW Polo ) is not expected before September.
It must be quite unfair for the people who would have bought this car with the old engine recently.
