Lately I have been listening a lot to the hits from Cliff Richard.
Remember the single from Munna Bhai "pal pal.. har pal..". Apparently the tune is copied from the the song "Theme for the dream" by Cliff Richard.
Interestingly the Gentleman was born in Lucknow (obviously in pre-independence era).
Extract from Wiki:
Sir Cliff Richard, OBE (born Harry Rodger Webb; 14 October 1940) is an Indian born English singer-songwriter and entrepreneur.
With his backing group The Shadows, Richard dominated the British popular music scene in the late 1950s and early 1960s (i.e. the 5 year "Before-Beatles" period: 1958-1962), before and during The Beatles' first year in the charts in 1963. John Lennon once claimed that "before Cliff and the Shadows, there had been nothing worth listening to in British music."... - The Times. Nov 30th 2005.
I love the "Devil woman". It is hilarious. _________________ Robin |

'Giant mistakes' does have a different music. I like songs with distinct tunes. |

Its a lovely easy going number. Just like most of Lobo's songs.

Hey RM...great. Also try Alison Krauss if you're willing to experiment a little. What's your favourite?

Sir, if they belong to the company of those where music is not a cacophony then i am game. I believe Alison Krauss to be a country musician. if that be the case then it just happens to lie at the very top amongst my favorite genres of music.
Thanks again sir. Will surely experiment.
Cheers,
