Hi,
I would like to know from the experts here whats the ideal speed range especially for 1st and 2nd gears in Diesel Fabia.
I am trying to figure out which is the best especially when crossing humps , when there are 2 to 3 humps to pass at one go.
I have been driving most of the time in 2nd gear over humps , the challenge comes when you are at an upward incline and you have humps , its here where Fabia is easily overtaken by others .

Boss! With my driving experience over various cars with M/T. Thumb rule is to always start your vehicle from dead halt on the lowest gear i.e First. Immediately switch to second when the rpm is nearing 2000. Especially when you are aproaching a speed breaker/hump it is advisable to be slow and shift to First. Moreover for Fabia Diesel to take advantage of peak torque maintain rpm over 1800.
