On one of my daily internet crawls (  ) I came across this video on youtube - a fabia 1.4tdi blitzing a quite powerful i20 1.4 crdi! The video is from the deccan quarter mile drag.

Apparently the mod's this babe is running are a TDi Racing ECU Remap & Bigger Turbo!
Timing: 15.9 secs for the quarter mile! Got 1st place too!
Really cool ride, and if I get the Fabia TDi I wouldn't mind getting mod's like these done

I have been using the Fabia with a remap, custom cold intake, decat since over a year and a half and must say it's been fun to drive it. Never felt the lack of power. It give out about 260NM of torque. So much that have already changed my clutch. But, I don't think this engine can take a bigger turbo. As with more power and torque the gearbox would fail plus rods aren't made to handle the power from the bigger turbo.

I know diesel engines can be mapped. Here petrol is also mapped.
@Invinsible: Where can we get this in India for the 1.2 HTP, is it possible?
even a 6 bhp jump will be good.

I like to install a tuning box in my Fabia Elegence TDI, could you tell me how and where can i check the performance difference in values like the torque or the bhp. i dont think i can do that here in Trivandrum, heard some place in Coimbatore
