|

Hi All,
I am new to this group and just bought my Fabia last week.
Was going through the manual and the other documents supplied with the car. It is mentioned that Petrol with RON 95 or above should be used. But I think the normally available petrol in India has RON between 85-91.
Have you guys faced any problem due to this. Further only Speed 93 and Speed 97 have RON 93 and 97 respectively and there availablity even in metros is very limited.
Waiting for your revert.
Regards |

Don't use speed/ extra premium, as the company engineer told me not to.
The extra.. have some silver particles which chokes the injector, so use the plain petrol.
If u find written RON in higher no, on speed or extra... then use, don't use by rumors.
Speed 97 is available in metros.
Before use any grade, first check the specification of the grades, in petrol pump, in written format. |

Hi, If you see the sticker on the fuel cap lid, it says RON 91/95. Therefore RON 91 can be used. All fuel sold across India is now RON 91 as per the web site of HPCL. _________________ Concern for others is key to road safety. Cheers |
