I have a Fabia HTP. Starting yesterday, once I start the car, the engine shakes violently even at idle as well as moving, making it unusable. Has anyone faced this issue? Any idea on what could be wrong?

Making it unusable? What is the rpm reading at that point? How does it behave when warmed up? Very likely a sensor issue.
The car needs to visit a doc.

RPM reading is normal - around 1000 rpm. Overall the car vibrates even after warming up(after the blue light is off).

May be the bolt fastening to engine and body have become loose , This can be adjusted , I have seen mechanics adjusting vibrations in Octavia Engine while starting to reduce vibrations

I have the OBD port connector with me. Along with the android app - Torque, it can be used for looking at the fault codes, engine parameters etc. There is one "pending fault" P0303 which according to some sites means cylinder/injector 3 has some problem. This can be due to many reasons including spark plugs, sensors etc. I think I have to take it to the dealer.
