I am using Garmin device in fabia using a dashboard mount. I think the charger cable is long enough to reach the windshield too! |

Won't the wire be hanging in half of the cabin. How good is the area below the music system? Just wondering - because you don't have to look at it as frequently as you look into the rear view mirrors. Your thought? _________________ Robin |

If you want to fix it on windshiled, yes you'll have to adjust with the hanging cable, but I always use dashboard mount (the flat area just near the steering wheel on left side) and very much comfortable with that position.

I'll not recommend it, especially for city driving or two-way roads ! You'll have to take eyes off the road. |

Too late a reply but just saw the post. I use a SatGuide navigator and it works well.
I place mine on the windshield, just below the rear view mirror. Cable hangs from there to the charging point, but that's the only way around. Single reception and lock-in is very quick when installed via the suction cup holder, on the windshield.
