Hi Guys,

Need your inputs...
I met with a small accident and as a result, the front bumper got damaged and it hit the radiator damaging it partially. I continued to drive it all the way to my native and back with the A/C ON, without any issues. Now, the workshop guy says that the A/C Condenser is also damaged and has to be replaced. But, i find the A/C working perfectly fine..

Cost of the Condenser is a whopping 15K + labor. Please advise if anyone has got it replaced anytime in the past...

Regards,
Sandeep.

If you are from Bangalore you have other avenues where there are AC repair guys who can get one for you at lower cost.
There is a leaki in condensor(Drier pipe) for Fabia Since last 2 years, I have sealed the leak with araldite and top up the gas once a year instead of spending 15K for the condensor.
A friend of mine has replaced his AC compressor at fraction of what Skoda charges for his octavia in Bangalore.

Hey!

Thanks for the inputs...luckily, the condenser and the radiator was not damaged to the extent that it had to be replaced. So, just getting the bumper replaced.... should be getting the vehicle today.. will share the bill details later Wink

Sandeep
