After readinf several posts, I wonder and want to ask all the owners of the Fabia 1.2 petrol. Is the engine noisy? Also during the test drive on the 1.2 Ambiente, I noticed a pretty odd thing, when you crank the self to start the car, the engine & the body vibrate like a truck...on asking the sales rep, he said something about the engine being mounted differently & not on the Chasis. Is this the case with all petrol cars? Please give your opinion!

| This is for sure that this engine is more noisier compared to the Japanease petrol cars. The vibration is there at the time of starting the car but afterwords it settles down. |

I am driving a new swift lately (my friend's, he is still learning to drive  ).
The noise and vibration of the engine is more than swift's, but only marginally. The difference is in the quality of noise. The Jap has a more refined humming noise whereas Fabia's is crudish. But overall experience in Fabia is at a different plane altogether  .
I find the quality of his Kenwood stereo with rear speakers better  . |
