Located at Bandra West, Mumbai. The Showroom is spread across an area of 1,000 sq ft, and is Skoda’s first boutique showroom in the city and Maharashtra. This outlet is exceptional in terms of the design concept that is a unique blend of lifestyle and contemporary ambience bringing the customer closer to the brand.

Promoting a distinctive automotive retail experience, the boutique showrooms will provide a platform for sneak previews of our upcoming models and Š koda fans no longer have to wait for the Auto Shows to see some of the latest cars from Škoda. The boutique showrooms will also cater as an automobile education centre for children, students & enthusiasts through interactive gatherings.

The showroom will also offer the Škoda Merchandise collection, a complete range of high quality and exclusive Škoda branded products. Currently on display are fashion accessories, kit cars and car accessories. Based on this platform the company will shortly introduce a program that encompasses express test drives, quick service bookings, virtual product tours and maintenance/warranty coupons.

I was planning to put this up today after searching the article from the web version of The Times of India. I think I saw this on the paper last week and even told Robin.

Ha. Good news and I like the idea Skoda has put forward. "No need to wait for Auto Expo; enthusiasts and customers can come and take a look at the upcoming models at the boutique showroom". That's interesting.

I'll be visiting Mumbai for about 2 weeks in May, and I'll surely be visiting this concept store. Probably even buy any merchandise if they seem fair and well priced. Surely, I'll have a ball checking the YETI out [before Robin does, Ha Ha Ha]. That alone gives me more satisfaction Wink

But wait a minute!!! Choksey? Choksey family operating the boutique showroom? Wasn't a Choksey family member arrested for illegal import of cars from abroad? I remember reading so long back on a thread by GTO in TBHP.

Also, use your creativity to link the dots up.. Another Mr.Choksey was the owner of the now defamed and shut down dealer Autobhan Skoda [or whichever Skoda showroom in Mumbai got shut down by Skoda due to Harish's Octavia illegal parts fraud case]..
There is a Meghna Choksey as a PR or marketing representative, a staffer on Skoda's rolls, in India. She once posted on TBHP via a formal Skoda handle, got flamed for it and never once returned.

Seems like the Choksey family is very much an importany ally for Skoda in India.. Hmmmm...

I remember Meghna Choksey. I also remember the one who was arrested. I am not sure about Autobhan. the dealer was Nummer Eins, I think. Nice name though.

Nummer Eins, yes. I think I've made a mistake confusing them for Autobhan. My mistake then; apologies everyone.

However, the Choksey linkage to Skoda India is pretty strong. They're everywhere Skoda are. Smile
